The sole reason for its creation was to develop, create, design and host "Logistics ConNEX™" the premier web site for the AWA (American Warehousing Association) and the CAWDS (Canadian Association of Warehousing and Distribution Services) soon to be known as the IWLA (International Warehouse Logistics Association) headquartered in Chicago, USA.

Adrian Donnelly, the owner of his own logistics organization "D.A.R.T. Logistics" and a member of the CAWDS/AWA approached Mike Jenkins, President & Chief Elected Officer, of the AWA/CAWDS in Toronto in 1996 with the idea of setting up a company to create a premier web site for the AWA/CAWDS members "Logistics ConNEX™" at pricing that would allow all associates to have their own web sites and be twenty-first century leaders in the fastest growing communications tool the "Internet".

Adrian, who pursued a computer science degree at the University of Toronto, was asked by Mike Jenkins of the AWA to take on the challenge to design and create the web site and has worked almost daily with Maureen Smith, Director of Marketing/Public Relations, for the AWA/CAWDS to bring "Logistics ConNEX™" on line in its present form of the International Warehouse Logistics Association.

"Logistics ConNEX™"  in its new format of the IWLA has 270 plus pages that make up the web site and over 700 member locations have been hyper linked since the April 97 Washington Convention. The goal is to have over 1,000 members, associate members and co-op members hyper linked by the end of 1997 with up to 1,000 world wide visitors per day.
